Études irlandaises is a peer-reviewed academic journal which publishes articles in English, French and Irish, exploring all aspects of Irish and Northern Irish history, visual arts, and literature from ancient times to the present. The journal is published twice a year on a wide range of interdisciplinary subjects including: poetry, fiction, drama, film, music, politics, economy, social studies, the diaspora, intercultural exchanges, diplomatic relations, etc.  A non-thematic Spring/Summer issue is followed by a thematic Autumn/Winter issue. Études irlandaisesis aimed at scholars, postgraduate students, institutions specializing in Irish studies as well as people who have an informed interest in the subject. Each issue has a comprehensive section devoted to recently published material on Ireland.
